Steps to realize FLY goals:
Green denotes a task completion, Red denotes a task in progress.
2.Submit petitions to law makers to lobby for legislation on the need for financial education that is essential for the success of students.
3.Build partnerships and create an advisory council with the government, nonprofit organizations, parent teacher associations and financial professionals (Pro Bono) to voluntarily enhance youth financial literacy in community. Arrange for financial literacy education to be discussed on local and national media.
4.Expand current website and develop relevant, fun, and practical peer-to-peer educational materials with the goal of teaching the financial skills needed in the real world and raising financial awareness in communities. Evaluate results and adjust accordingly.
5.Establish a system of training to prepare volunteers to teach personal finance at an appropriate level of mastery of the topics, instruction methods and with confidence in classrooms or in community.
7.Organize festivals, expos and education conferences to promote financial literacy. Educate attendees on personal finance through financial games and activities and have them petition for a personal finance class in their schools.
